Ken Charles, a successful Internet
entrepreneur, has been in the Internet development and
marketing business since 1996. As the founder and CEO of
a major web development and
marketing firm in
Philadelphia
Pennsylvania
and San
Diego
California, Mr. Charles and his
former staff have helped hundreds of individuals and
companies succeed with their Home Internet Business and corporate
online presence. He's shown hundreds of individuals and
businesses how to Make a Living on the Internet and sustain
constant streams of revenue.
In late 2003 Ken
decided that the corporate Internet world was no longer suitable and
sold the business for a more docile lifestyle. Since then he's
been working from the comfort of his home as a personal
Internet consultant helping individuals and businesses
succeed with their online enterprises still maintaining his corporate philosophy with his small home
consulting firm.
As
a graduate in Marketing, Communications & Copywriting from
Villanova
University,
Ken has worked in a many industries as a marketing consultant and
owner. In the early seventies a tour in
Vietnam while in the Air Force left him ... well let's say he
doesn't really like to talk about it. In the late
seventies and early eighties, he worked as the Food Service
Director at
Princeton
University
and owned his own successful restaurant in suburban
Philadelphia.
In the mid
eighties, Ken founded and acted as the CEO and marketing
director of a very successful mid-size Commercial-Industrial
Coating Contracting Company. The pace was hectic and after 10
years of that, successful as it may have been, he called it
quits.
In late 1994 - early
1995 something else caught his eye. It was this new thing
called the Internet. He started surfing around and found it
fascinating. It was then he knew that this was undoubtedly the
wave of the future and he was determined to be a part of it. He
studied everything he could about Internet development and
marketing. With marketing being his core focus, it was only
natural to now learn all about Internet Marketing which was very
different from the traditional marketing techniques he had learned
in College. He did....he learned everything he could and became
an expert.
Entrepreneur that he was, in 1996 he founded his own firm. An interactive Internet Design, Marketing
and Development firm dedicated to helping business succeed online.
The emphasis was on marketing ... cause without it he felt...you
couldn't succeed online. Ken was once quoted in Web
Marketing Today Daily magazine as saying......"What good is a web site if no
one can find it." "It's like a bulletin board in outer
space....maybe an occasional astronaut will see it on his way to the
moon."
Ken has written and
published many articles in industry journals on Internet
marketing and is considered by many to be one of the
foremost and most knowledgeable entrepreneurs and
marketers in the industry today.
Ken's life and career
spanned many industries although he couldn't be accused of being a
"Jack of all Trades" and ”Master of None" because he truly
did master the few different industries he was involved in. He
made it a point to know all he could about each. Marketing
them was his forte'.
Ken was, and is,
currently involved in the entertainment industry to this
day. His LOVE. HIS TRUE LOVE. In the early
seventies, as an artist, his band released albums on Warner Bros.,
Paramount, and Titan
Records. He's managed, produced, and marketed many
rock acts through the years. Some of his associations in the music
industry have been with artists like Miami Sound Machine, Tony
Bongiovi (Uncle of Jon), John Sembello (producer and brother of
Michael "Maniac" Sembello from the Flash Dance Album, Jazz
Fusion Guitar Extraordinaire Greg Howe, Jamie Marks, and many other
well known artists.
Yep....I guess you can
say he's been around. But today after settling down with
Bambi, the love of his life, their two dogs Dallas and
Philly-Bear, and their frantic cat Blackie, his ambitions have
settled down to a dull roar. Just enough to help people with
what he knows best. Starting and marketing their own Home
Internet Business. Other then currently managing an up and
coming rock act from
Rochester
New
York, that's all
he does.
